PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Description
Verbal ability is a vital component of management entrance exams. The questions in this section broadly test abilities in word power, analogies, sentence correction, and verbal reasoning. This means that it demands a good vocabulary and a strong command of English. Over the last few years, the nature of questions asked in this section, particularly in the Common Admission Test has changed from being pure vocabulary based on reasoning and analogy.
Verbal intelligence is the ability to analyze information and solve problems using language-based reasoning. Language-based reasoning may involve reading or listen to words, conversing, writing, or even thinking. From classroom learning to social communication to texting and email, our modern world is built around listening to or reading words for meaning and expressing knowledge through spoken language.
